Special Beef Roast
Beef Roast is a delicious recipe I recently prepared, and it serves as a show stopper for the menu, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. The recipe is prepared by pre-cooking the beef with a few ingredients, then serving the beef until it is cooked very slowly. It is best served with steamed rice, Indian bread and hoppers.
Ingredients
To Pressure Recipes:
- Beef Cubes (cut into medium pieces - including bones)
- Turmeric powder -1/4 tbsp
- Curry leaves
- Garlic (2 cloves) Ginger - small piece (chopped)
- Salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp pepper powder
Other ingredients
- Cashews - 10 pieces
- Raisins -10
- Coconut flakes - 20
- Curry leaves
- Small pieces of ginger - chopped
- Chopped garlic-5 cloves
- 3 green chilli - chopped
- Dry red chilli-3
- Small onions (deep) - 10 chopped
- 2 large onions - chopped
- Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Curry leaves
- Salt
- Enough coconut oil 2 tbsp + 1 tsp + 1 tbsp
Steps.
1. Pressurize the cooked beef cubes with the ingredients indicated under "Pressure Cook". Cook the beef until 90% of the beef is not cooked.
2. Add 2 tbsp coconut oil to a wide pan and add the coconut flakes until slightly golden. Once they begin to break down, remove everything from the kadai. Do not burn any of these.
3. In the same pan, add chopped garlic, ginger, dried red chilli, green chillies, curry leaves and peas and fry until smooth. (About 2-3 on medium low fire). Then add the onion and sorte until the brown is soft.
4. Add the coriander powder and red chillies and cook until the raw smell is gone. Add the steamed beef to the stock and start roasting until the water evaporates. When frying, add some curry leaves, coconut oil (1 tbsp) and salt.
5. When the beef starts to fry, add the pepper powder and garam masala and cook until it is dark brown. (Keep a low flame through the roast). Lastly add fried cashews, raisins, coconut oil, some curry leaves and a coconut coconut oil (1 tbsp) and you're good to go!
